Nobody is harrassing anyone else.
In the airine industry, any company seeking business from a particular sector, will attempt to accommodate that particular sector. This is nothing new. The newness is that the haredi sector has decided to flex its consumer muscle, and make its requirements known. The airlines now have to make a decision, which sector they will favor. If they decide to forgo the haredi sector and ignore their requirements, so be it. The sector will just take their business elsewhere.
In a free capitalistic society, markets will effectively manage themselves. What we are seeing here is a classical application of time tested economic forces at work. |
