and this article sort of verifies it to me. this was all too pat, and that his intent to damage olmert was evident from the beginning. i can`t help but to pity olmert, because it`s becoming obvious that he`s the victim of the same sort of smear campaign that`s carried out against anyone who has earned the wrath of the pro-israeli powers. he has joined the ranks of finkelstein and others...only at a different level with different tactics.
but it seems to follow, that even if olmert IS guilty of taking this money; then talansky is equally guilty for proffering it in the first place.
he should at least be deemed persona non-grata by israel!
