| Any false imprisonment, whether of Palestinians or Jews, should be criticized and stopped. Judges and the military should always be aware of the evidence in any case, rather than fabricating it and convicting people on the basis of false evidence or none at all (as is the case with a large number of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza). Despite the fact that the military administration has been convicting Palestinians for decades on even flimsier evidence, I mourn when politics become involved in justice. With that said, none of the Jewish settlements in West Bank and Gaza are legal. Look at the Geneva Convention, and see how many international laws Israel has broken by settling on illegal, occupied land. Settlers have driven Palestinians out of their houses and torn them down in an atrocious display of cruelty, and then justified it through religion and the Jewish birth rights associated with Zionism. |
