| Israel produces its electricity by burning fossil fuels. With this project it is expect that Israel will be importing more fossil fuel at market price. Good for the environment? No! Good for Aggasi and the Ofer family? Yes, at the expense of air quality in Israel. Money should be spent on more bike lanes in cities where traffic jams cause the most pollution, municipal bike rental systems similar to other European cities. |
