Shai Agassi is one of a long line of automobile `visionaries` dating back to 1900! The basic problem is that they all fail. Even IF their ideas live it is only after they`ve been stolen or occasionally licensed by the big car companies.
His project is probably not the right direction for electric only vehicles but even if it is the state has no long term interest. Israel will have electric vehicles, but from Honda or Toyota, like the rest of world. Shai Agassi`s dream is a money pit, and it`s current success is only a function of Aggasi`s abilities as a master marketer. |
