| The government should give some kind of finacial assistance on the condition the cars are built in Israel. It could create alot of jobs and for once let Israel do the exporting rather than importing their own ideas. Grant licences to other countries interested in taking part in a pilot project ok but just a little bit of investment in Israel itself for once and build the cars here ..national pride, create jobs & although small makes Israel a player in the global car market. Why not start by making in Israel all non essential government ( cars that do not need extra security ) what better support could be given to the program. Aim for the taxi drivers to begin with, they would have their own charging stations for practicality purposes. Explain they would save gas so it would be worth their while when they replace cars replace them with vehicles like this. If its handles right and not long term is the goal not overnight success then this could work in Israel. |
