Kind of strange that Hezbollah has all the evidence about Arad being alive in captivity. Very strange that despite their legendary prowess and claim to being in control of everything in Lebanon, they can`t reveal who murdered the captive navigator. Where did they get all that material that showed Arad was definitely alive? Why isn`t Hezbollah coming clean on all their information? Could it be that Hezbollah policy is simply to murder captive Israeli servicemen? It seems that Israel captures Lebanese and keeps them alive (despite some like Kuntar being convicted murderers), yet Hezbollah has never returned a single live Israeli solider (Tannenbaum was a drug dealer, not a soldier).
Makes you realize that there are many reasons on the Lebanese/Iranian side of the border as to why it`s so hard to make a deal. Is Arad still alive in an Iranian prison and thus an embarrassment to Iran? If so, will the Iranians kill Arad like they do to their dissidents and human rights activists? |
