| Iran`s strong opposition to Israeli-Syrian talks points to their value. If Israel can drive a wedge between Syria and Iran and break up their alliance, all the better. The extreme hostility Iranian officials continue to show towards Israel points to the inevitability of an eventual conflict between the two countries and a likely Israeli attack on Iran`s nuclear facilities. In that case, it makes sense to break up the Syrian-Iranian alliance. |
