| My textbook says the Palestinians considered themselves to be living in Syria and thought the Jews were establishing the State of Israel within Syria as part of a greater Syria. No wonder Assad is intent on gaining control of the region, including Lebanon. Would the Pals today like to live under Assad as part of Syria? |
