I live in modiin. i moved from Jerusalem. why?
I work in tel-viv. Nice neighborhoords. good demographic. Excellent public transport (read - TRAINS). So why not Ramle, Lod, etc..? Modiin has everything they have, but better. Simply put - i can get off the train in modiin at 12:00am and NOT get mugged. Actually, at 3:00am i can walk or run, in ANY neighborhood and fear nothing at all! its wonderful! I have been to Ramle and Lod - and neither is a place that i would want to raise my family. and yes, that train station and central bus station can only be described as `shady-as-all-hell`. Im sorry to say the street "kehilat Detroit" in Ramle was something of a self fulfilling prophecy. |
