| These people are on crack because I dont know anyone who would consider moving to either of these shitty communities. I dont know what the planners are smoking but there is a reason that people flocked to modiin and the city continues to grow. It may be ugly but its a vast improvement over the slums of ramle and lod. People want to live in the center but in quiet, safe and pleasant communities free of arabs. Thats the reality. And when it comes to approval of building projects where there is a demand there is money and thats all the politicians care about. No one will come seeking lod or ramle so the ridiculous assertion that modiin needs to compete or worry is nonsense. The article also fails to mention the amount of foreign investment in modiin necessitates new building and you cant say the same for either rample or lod. |
