The United Nations is often maligned by the Israel at all costs crowd yet the world organization is what gave Israel it`s birth, it`s better than the League of Nations that preceded it and it is the best that humanity on this planet currently has to offer in terms of country by country representation.
Your view on 1701 is the right one I think, no one in the real adult world ever thought that Hezbollah was going to be unarmed anytime soon under it, but the goal to get the shooting and killing stopped was realized; Israeli flyovers and other violations not withstanding. |
