We want to make the world into this cartoon: with `the bad men` on one side, and `the good men` on the other.
It`s just not that way. Hitler really was a pleasant and congenial employer. He also deliberately killed around ten million people -- and would have killed quite a few more if he could have had his way.
One just has to accept that these facts aren`t mutually exclusive. It was like some footage I saw of Hitler playing with his dog. All these posters were trying to convince themselves the dog showed signs of abuse. What nonsense: it was footage of a middle-aged man playing with his beloved and happy dog. |
