This is an interesting article. To say that Nasrallah is afraid of Israel is totally absurd. Nasrallah is afraid of many people as he has proven to be the most effective Arab figure vis-a-vis the Israeli issue. No Arab leader has been able to accomplish what he accomplished, with the little he has.
I believe that Olmert and all of his cronies are truly afraid of Nasrallah and they tried to break him more than once, but to no good conclusion.
As far as Arabs living in Israel and having the most democracy has to offer. I think they are far from it. How much land can Arabs own in Israel? What schools do they attend? How can they demonstrate against their occupiers? last time they tried, 13 of them were killed.
Lebanon is by far more democratic that Israel is or will ever be. |
