| This was a very interesting time in Europe; essentially the last war to be fought there (thank god). Although millions of Catholics, Gypsis, Jews and Homosexuals were exterminated, we can now look back and wonder, what happened? In many ways, Israel is also an offshoot of the war in Europe between the "Aryan master race" who still inhabit Europe and the "Chosen people" who now live in Israel. How nice if we no longer had personal or collective narratives that called oneself "Aryan" or "Chosen" let us all just be people, equal in the eyes of god. |
