| Both parties agree Israel is abiding by the water splits agreed upon at Oslo in `93, INCLUDING Israel supplying a substantial part of W. Bank and Gaza needs from its own water supplies, e.g., Lake Kinneret which was 100% inside not only pre-`67 Israel but also 100% inside 1947 Partition Plan Israel. The Palestinians, because they wildly bred themselves into food and water shortages, now demand "revision" in the deal, accuse Israel of "stealing" water which is "theirs". No doubt, a few years after attaining PA statehood, they would come back demanding more land from Israel because their population has grown faster, they "need" Israeli land, the Jews "stole" their land, etc, etc. This crap has to stop. The history of ME conflict in a nutshell - Muslim Arabs unwilling to live alongside non-Muslims or abide by treaties: look what happened to the "Christian Arab homeland", Lebanon, formed alongside Muslim state, Syria, from Levant`s 1946 partition. Screw them! NO ADD`L WATER FOR PA ARABS! |
