You don`t know about Jewish literature, but that is because you have never had the interest to read any. Nor would you understand it if you did. See, you understand roman and egyptian culture, big buildings, architecture, self-deification etc... but not self-nullification which is the point of Jewish literature. Not living ones whole life as it tells us to in the written and oral Torah. To you it is a load of nonsense, just like I see your society as a load of nonsense. But while yours will disappear, ours will not. We have kept the same laws for 3 000 years, our laws are not yours. |
