Olmert, Assad may sit together OK, but Assad can forget about his 23 years of using the Golan as a dump for Waste Material. The Golan is today a flourishing little Paradise and from its early beginnings since the early first Temple days was historically Jewish... and since then was the last Jewish stronghold to resist the Romans during the Great Revolt. For now it will be staying in Jewish hands since it was captured from Syria in 1967 and is today a flourishing little `Paradise` where Jews and Druze live harmnisouly together and who maintain that if the Golan ever should go back into Syrian hands they will all pack up and leave.
