| R. Tendler teaches at Yeshiva University, the flagship of modern orthodoxy, and is a religious Zionist. He allows organ donation and rules that brain stem death is death. All of these things put him squarely OUT of the haredi camp (though he is largely respected by them). This is all pretty well know, just another case of poor research/understanding of basic Orthodox community issues by Haaretz |
