Haaretz Staff and Channel 10: Dead Sea hotel goes Haredi for weekend, but forgets to tell secular guests
Talkback
Title:Short-sightedness on the part of the hotel

The person in charge of sales and marketing for this hotel should be fired. There is nothing wrong with letting Haredi guests book hundreds of rooms and accommodating them with plastic sheets, separate swimming and modified entertainment. They have as much a right to the pleasures of a Dead Sea vacation as anyone else. There is however something terribly wrong with marketing yourself to secular guests as your typical Dead Sea resort and then pulling a fast one like this with no advance warning. If I were one of the secular guests, I`d sue for false advertising and breach of contract. But that`s the least of this hotel`s problems. This blunder will no doubt cause many secular vacationers in the future to look elsewhere rather than risk such an unexpected and unwanted surprise.
