| Most Jews in the US are Democrats. Obama is running for Presidnt as a Democrat. He has already stated MANY TIMES that he supports Israel and will do so as President. Thus, Israel has nothing to fear from him. I beleive Assad would get a better deal from Bush than he will from Obama b/c Bush wans to secure his legacy and only has 6 months to do so. Part of his legacy could be a peace treaty between Israel and Syria. Bush would be more anxious to deliver that than Obama who will probably be in office for 8 years. |
