| In the three-and-a-half weeks after 7th July, there were 269 religious hate crimes in London. In South Yorkshire, there were 137 attacks in July 2005. In West Yorkshire, there were 366 attacks in July 2005. In Scotland, there were 438 racist attacks in July 2005 Three days after the 7th July bombings, 48-year old Pakistani Kamal Butt was murdered outside a corner shop in Nottingham. 6 Mosques have been attacked, a garage firebombed, people assaulted in the street, and homes vandalized and sprayed with graffiti. Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes, was shot seven times in the head by the police with incredible sadism (one bullet every 3 seconds while immobilized to the floor) only for looking dark skinned. The British have a lot to learn from Israel whose restraint after 60 years of Arab terrorism is simply amazing and peaceful coexistence still works wherever the Arabs want it. |
