| Unlike Israels nuclear program which was all done secretly and under wraps. It makes one wonder what Israels nuclear agenda is, since a nuclear deterrant cannot deter if its existance is secret. Perhaps Israel was concerned that if its nuclear arsenal was public knowledge, then that would prompt an arms race in the mideast. If this is the case, the concern was well founded. The mideast was once a rather sleepy backwater, even after oil became sought after. It was only about 1948 that bad things started happening on a regular basis and they still are. |
