"The tests involved the launching of a number of Tamir missiles - the type that is expected to be used by Iron Dome to intercept Qassam and Katyusha rockets......
Defense sources estimate that by the end of 2008 Iron Dome will be ready to undergo a major test that will evaluate the system`s ability to intercept a rocket. The test will include the launch of a rocket, which Tamir will try to intercept."

This whizzbang maker has simply launched one of its whizzbangs.
Great - they`ve lit the blue touchpaper and the thing has managed to leave the milk bottle.
No indication yet that it is capable of doing anything but that.

Folks - missile tests are ALWAYS successful when you`re a whizzbang maker, trying to con money out of a government.
But, as we all know, it`s no sin to make a profit.
