If all the Lebanese dead and alive are traded for all the Israeli dead and alive.
Then there are no more hostages on either side.
Then there is no more reason to capture and trade people?
So what if the precedent is that you have to give up your hostages or else risk your own people getting taken hostage. In fact, Israel should release all the Palestinians as well, get Shalit back too, then both sides should stop kidnapping people.
And then it doesn`t matter anymore what precedent was set. When there is no trade to be made, there is no reason to capture the other sides people. |
