| Thanks for challenging me: my fingers are itching to write this! This īd be my strategy: as I pointed out in my letter #21 in the tb on "the Analysis: Truce, a poker game", I see it necessary for Israel to occupy Gaza before striking Iran and give it in the permanent hands of the UN, have it disarmed by the NATO,Americans,Israel and demilitirized under the UN. THEN: the American troops together with the French troops(to give France a chance to demonstrate her friendship and sympathy with Lebanon) will be stationed in Lebanon, to either disarm Hezbollah or keep it in check. Simple. The route for Israel to strike Iran is open. Eh voilá! The Iranian social problem are drugs. I donīt expect an Iranian soldier to be much of a resitance, unless the Mullahs, who run by fanaticism, take upon arms themselves. Syria has just recently discovered that her old by the Russians given (FOR FREE) weapons are worth metal crap, so therefore they are now desperate after Am-weapons. |
