| I agree with you that Tel Aviv is not a very Jewish city, but why didn`t you go to Jerusalem or one of the religious settlements? In places like these you will find plenty of proud Jews. I myself am in the dati-leumi group (i.e. knitted kippas) and feel that this is the best of two worlds. We are part of the outside world and yet are observant Jews and proud Israelis. Also, I agree with those who say that only the Orthodox will have Jewish descendants. All research shows this to be true. |
