| I spoke to a lady in the airport in Jordan last week. She is Sunni and her husband Shia - they left Iraq several years ago when the situation became too dangerous. As we have heard many times, before the devisive American attack on Iraq, which changed everything, Shia and Sunni intermarried and lived together happily. Christians thrived in Baghdad - now most of them have left. Life under Saddam for the ordinary Iraqi was much better than life under Bush! |
