| The Iranian leadership may feel they are disrespected, but they themselves are certainly arrogant. They refuse to call "Israel" by name. The world feeds their arrogance by not responding measure for measure to that effrontery. Let every Western nation refuse to call Iran by its name and for as long as Iran calls Israel "the Zionist regime," truthfully call Iran "the Islamo-fascist or even Islamo-nazi regime." The reason Iran feels it will win is that the West does not know how to wage ideological war. In order to vindicate its wounded ego Iran wants this war to commence with an Israeli strike on its nuclear facility. Perhaps if the West could wage a proper ideological challenge to the smug neo-Platonic perfectionist theology of the Mullahs, military hostilities could be avoided. |
