| I am the proud hybrid sister who got most of my Jewish education, inspiration, and lessons of tradition from Marco and now lead a Jewish life that works for me and my family. Yes, we grew up decorating Christmas trees and singing Silent Night at chapel services at our elementary school. But we also both had the importance of Israel instilled in us and both made Aliyah after our father passed away. For all of you judgmental Israelis out there, please do me a favor - next time you meet someone who believes enough in Israel to leave their family and friends to come and live in the Holy Land - why don`t you try and make it a little more welcoming for them. How dare you call him such insulting names and say his kids aren`t going to be Jewish. I could hardly even find young people in Tel Aviv who attended synagogue services, got bar mitzvahed or how about even believe in God for that matter. Think about it before you judge. |
