| Marco Greenberg is just another example of the Jews who made a big effort to assimilate and of course left their (or their progeny) Jewish identity and disappeard from our midst. His "justifications" are lame and stupid as they cover a certain degree of guilt and yet "exonerate" him. He must realize that his descendants will be non-Jewish. If he does not realize it he is very naive ( he should read Amos Eilon`s excellent book: The Pity of it All (German Requiem) maybe this will give him an insight which he now lacks. If he wants to ignore the importance of his Jewishness he should do it out-right and not bother us with his shortcomings. |
