| as a resident of armon hanatsiv, the ENORMOUS jewish neighborhood directly in between the neighborhoods of zur baher and jabal mukaber, i do not want to see a wall between us and jerusalem. i am NOT A SETTLER!!! we can revoke their residency status, take away all their jobs and let them have east jerusalem as their capital - but i suggest haim ramon take a look at an actual MAP and see how much of east jerusalem would become their new capital...bc unfortunately "east jerusalem" forms a crescent shape around "west jerusalem" almost completely encircling it. we should HALT settlement expansion in the west bank and evacuate the west bank, according to GENEVA ACCORDS, with land trades, but we can`t give them all of that crescent shaped "east jerusalem" without ceding all of jerusalem. look at a map - it just won`t work. they need contiguity - and so do we. |
