| Did Mr. Burston not notice that Israeli occupation forces killed over 400 Palestinians this year already, including 75 children and 23 women? Did he not notice the occupation and the apartheid going on? And he has the chutzpah to suggest that what is driving the Palestinians is anti-Semitism? Was it anti-Semitism that caused the Irish to rise up against the English, the Americans against the British, or the Filipinos against the Americans, or the Algerians against the French, or the French against the Germans? No my dear Mr. Burston, it was occupation, colonialism, oppression. What the Palestinians want dear Mr. Burston is their freedom. And like all those other people, they have shown they will fight for it -- sometimes by foul means -- as long as it is denied to them. |
