JVD: "the intelligence gathering value of the area ? particularly the ridge of hills on its eastern fringes and from atop Mt. Hermon (aptly dubbed ?the eyes of the country?) is indispensable"
Nicely cut`n`pasted, Jean, but try writing your own words next time rather than simply regurgitating the stale ol` Hasbarah.
Anyway, that`s a straw man argument; Assad`s daddy already offered that the monitoring station on Mount Hermon could remain, with Americans manning it and reporting freely to the Israelis.
Assad the younger has ALREADY said that negotiations must pick up where Daddy left them, which means that offer is still on the table.
Try another argument, Jean, coz that one doesn`t fly... |
