| So even though Israel is not the occupying power it has the authority to tell the Palestinians inside Gaza that they can not walk on *this* bit of Gaza. So even though Israel is not the occupying power it has the authority to declare that parts of Gaza are "special security zones". So even though Israel is not the occupying power it has the authority to shoot at Palestinians going about their business in Gaza even *during* an official ceasefire. Gosh! So she claims that she has AUTHORITY inside the Gaza Strip even as she claims that she is not the occupying power! I think someone needs to point out to Israel that you *become* an occupying power when you establish your authority over that territory. Otherwise, you know, some people might start to think that Israel is being, you know, duplicitous about this..... |
