| "MK Wassel Taha said that he would organize a joint trip for all nine Israeli Arab MKs" There are 10 Arabs and 3 Druze in Knesset. There are 10 MKs (8 Arabs, 1 Druze, and 1 Jew) seated in the Arab parties. Based on MK Taha`s statement, it appears that one is only an Arab if one is seated with an Arab party, and this does include Druze but not Jews. Weird. So are MK Hilu and MK/Cabinet Member Majadele no longer Arab because they are seated with Labour? Is Druze MK Nafa "Arab enough" becuase he sits with Balad but not MK Shanan or Deputy FM MK Whbee? And poor Jewish Hadash MK Kheinin has to stay home. Racists. |
