When Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari runs his mouth about blocking the Strait of Hormuz which is 55Km at its narrowest, with nothing better than a few inflatable boats fitted with outboard motors, one has to wonder if the former Iraqi Information Minister has been his mentor.
Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari does have a missile capability, but nothing as potent as is claimed, for the purpose of attacking Israel. As for post-conflict reprisals, coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan have sufficient experience by now to know that Iran will have to be administered directly for many decades, so as to avoid unnecessary difficulties with a population which has no experience of government and its institutions, so as to form a viable government which would not be a threat to the region and beyond.
