| "five judges from the High Court of Justice... stated that the law was unconstitutional" This is news to me I didn`t know that Israel had come up with a constitution. Perhaps the good justices were referring to some ethereal, esoteric universal constitution to which the rest of us mere non-left-wing-activist mortals are not privy. The Israel supreme court is mimicking that bloviating fool justice kennedy with their rampant legal activism. In absence of a constitution, the supreme court`s sole mandate is interpretation of law passed by the Israeli knesset. They have no business inventing, transmuting or otherwise forcing their hostile, anti Israel, biased views on the Jewish state. Their flagrant disregard for the separation of powers is a disgrace. They are renegade pariahs of the legal community and should be treated as such. ^_^ |
