| Nuremburg made clear that it is the duty and responsibility of each soldier not to serve an illegal regime and not to carry out illegal orders. No captured soldier serving an illegal occupation can complain of being held prisoner; he had no right to be there in the first place. Don`t waste sympathy on the occupiers; they had the opportunity to refuse to serve. |
