(next time you meet someone from Hi-tec, ask) Yeshivot stress learning HOW to learn,and stress the skills needed. once there it is easy to pick up the knowledge secular kids have rammed down theitr throats without learning to digest. In Jerusalem there are programs to teach haredim all they need to get into college in fields you stress. takes about a year sometimes two.
