From the story it is clear that Israel broke the truce first by killing Palestinians, and the only harm to Israelis were women who suffered "shock", which unlike death, is something you recover quickly from. Israel needs to learn that a cease fire means that Israel must stop killing Palestinians, but if Israel insists upon its continued attacks upon Palestinians, then the Palestinian are justified in retaliating.
