If the government collapses, all the polls indicate the next government will be headed by Likud. This will end the peace negotiations for the forseeable future. Labor knows this, so they must seriously weigh the benefits of getting rid of the corrupt Olmert versus the risks of a Likud government. Olmert and Kadima also know this, so Barak`s threat must have teeth if they are to unseat Olmert.
