A lot of jews clearly left Arab countries for very similar reasons to the Palestinian`s departure from what is now Israel. In many cases, such as Libya, they were clearly forced to leave. What is more Jordan clearly did not allow any Jews to remain in areas of Palestine occupied by it in 1948. This illustrates the fact that the Arabs were engaged in ethnic cleansing. This contrasts with Israel where a sizeable Palestinian population remained. Dovy cites two Jews who have prospered in the Arabs world. But if that meant that there were no Jewish refugees from Arab lands then the numbers of arab Israelis who have proposed in Israel equally means there have been no Palestinian refugees. The reality is that the only difference between the refugees is that Israel has rehoused the Jews while the Arabs have allowed the Palistinians to remain in refugee camps for political reasons.
