One must remember that what really brought on this cease-fire, was Barak`s initial incursion into Gaza. It sent Pahad into the hearts of the Philistines, believe me, before the U.S.Secretary State came running to Jerusalem to cry foul and try to save her Annapolis Process. Otherwise, had he continued, Hamas would have caved in. But they were begging for a cease-fire by then. Nothing is sure. One would be a fool to think so. Therefore, it is better to assure the release of Gilad, which would be a surety, than to promise Hamas everything, though the smaller factions realize finally that all those rockets were actually harming the Palestinians themselves. So I still think that bringing this soldier home, who is trying to keep himself in one piece by not giving up on the hope that he will be returned home soon. One should be guided by this young man`s brave resolve, that is the moral high ground. Gilad, believe that G-d sees your plight.
