| The problem is that need war all the time to justify stealing more land, building more illegal homes, and that wretched wall. Israel have never wanted peace, just that the rest of the world now understands it too thanks to instant communications and extraordinary Israeli historians not afraid to tell the truth. Some of the finest books I have read in years have been by the likes of Tanya Reinhart and Ilan Pappe, Gershom Gorenberg and articles by Gideon and Uri Avnery. |
