Do you mean Morel was not in charge of the Swietochlowice camp and was not responsible for the deaths of over 1600 people? "massacre of thousands of Jews in places like Jedwabne (where the local population burned all the Jewish inhabitants in a synagogue), Lomze, Katowitz, etc. etc." In a synagogue? And "all the Jewish inhabitants"? And - what kind of massacres happened in "Lomze" and in "Katowitz"? The fact is, that by not agreeing to his extradition to Poland the Israeli government gave Morel immunity from prosecution. There is no logical link between that fact, and Jedwabne. Jedwabne does not justify Morel`s crimes. But there is a direct analogy between the position of the Austrian government re Asner and the Israeli governemt re Morel. |
