Well ... from perspective of living under different kind of sanctions for 16 years now for croatian and bosnian (funny detail - WW II Inependent State of Croatia) war: whole Serbia is stuck because of Mladic. Austria, known for love for tidiness (Jews toothbrushing Vienna squares) and mercy for elderly people regardless of their biographies is about to lead Holocaust education effort.
It should not be forgotten that Kurt Waldhaim, Nazi officer from Austria that was directly involved in Ustashi torturing to death of Serbs from Bosnia in the villages where they were caught by surprise, forest shelters when there was no more place or way to hide and in Jasenovac system of death camps (with Jews and Gypsies), served as UN Secretary general.
sometimes i wonder ... is there any morality in European Union at all? I know that that in Austria there is none. |
