of course hamas couldn`t care less about these nor other accords & of course they won`t comply w/the part of the truce deal that matters to israel.
they have their own program & it has very little to do w/fighting occupation. that`s just language that looks nice on a pamphlet.
the sad thing is that in spite of certain basic rules that predicated the whole thing called peace process from the beginning & made it possible in the first place, any of these can be disregarded & the process subsequently hijacked by a movement like hamas who consistently & always have stood against & undermined any peaceful settlement of the conflict.
take the picture back to early -90s & you`ll see why arms smuggling into the territories is an issue that matters highly. |
