I cannot understand why Israel continues try to preserve Hezbollah`s monopoly over the Lebanese government in acquiring effective weapons. Hezbollah apparently has an effective Russian-made anti-tank weapon. Israelis complain about Hezbollah arms, but won`t support allowing the Lebanese government to achieve parity. This makes no sense to me.
