| I`ve long ago lost patience with these thuggish little terrorist "guerillas" playing at being soldiers. How I long for the days when a great power could smash them to pieces without the intervention of the modern media. Israel uses a fraction of its power against Hamas and company, mainly due to PR problems. If this were 1905 and Theodore Roosevelt were president of the United States, some battleships, cruisers, and a few thousand marines would end this in a week. Despite the inevitable civilian causalties more lives would be saved in the long-term and a real message would be sent. |
